Millmerran offers a comprehensive sheet extrusion facility capable of manufacturing across a wide range of dimensional specifications and material types, including bio-derived / bio-compostable and medical grades. We can produce widths from 50mm to 900mm and thicknesses between 0.3mm and 4mm. Thin flexible materials are usually supplied in rolls while the rigid ones and those of greater thickness would come in flat sheets. On an experimental basis our advanced co-extrusion technology can also be utilised to manufacture up to three layers within a given thickness of film or sheet.
Our dedicated 38mm trialling line allows for the cost-effective proving of new concepts up to 80mm in width and larger 50mm and 90mm extruders take care of sheet and film requirements up to 600mm and 900mm wide respectively. We specialize in experimental and pilot-scale production runs, with no minimum order quantity requirements, but a set-up and clean-down fee will normally be applied.
